Derrick M. Roberts II is a professional saxophonist, licensed mental health therapist, and 4th-year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology. One of the most sought-after musicians in the Northeast, Derrick delivers soul-stirring performances that blend contemporary jazz, R&B, and gospel, using music as a bridge to healing and emotional connection.

Driven by his belief that music has the power to transform lives, Derrick founded Pieces of Me: A Mental Health Music & Arts Showcase—an immersive experience that blends music, storytelling, and artistic expression to break mental health stigmas and foster community healing.
