One Time Weekend & Friends: Masquerade of Madness II
We are excited to announce One Time Weekend and Friends "Masquerade of Madness" will take place at Infinity Music Hall in Hartford, Connecticut for the second year in a row! The spectacle of last year's MoM included guest musicians Brandon "Taz" Niederauer, Zdenek Gubb, as well as musicians of local favorite bands like West End Blend.
This Masquerade was no ordinary show. Before, during, and after the stellar live music segment, well-adorned audience members were given a carnival-like experience. Performers including a contortionist, juggler, tarot card reader and face painter were stationed around the venue. The structure of the hall itself came into play with intricate details in set design, lighting and atmosphere coming into play. It was a truly immersive experience.
With coverage from CT's Radio 104.1, Live For Live Music (media/news source) and No Simple Road (podcast), the event was well attended with an audience of 400 fans.
In the words of the band: "The Masquerade is more than a show, it's a community gathering. It is an expose of the arts from visual to auditory inspired by the likes of Scotland's Fringe Festival. It is a chance to lose yourself in something amazing".
